Lake Velencei Development Nonprofit Company (Velencei) is a nonprofit small- and medium sized organisation operating in the water tourism service sector at the Lake Velencei (Hungary) since 2000. Lakeside tourism plays a vital role in Hungary\u2019s tourism, more than 20% of the guest nights in Hungary spent at the country\u2019s four lakeside destinations. Lake Velencei is an ideal summer destination owing to the 1.5 m average water depth and the large number of sunshine hours, the water temperature reaches 26-28 celsius in summer. Part of the Lake is a no-go zone unique natural reservoir \u2013 a bird sanctuary \u2013 since 1958 therefore to present the natural values of the Lake from a boat is a unique opportunity. Velencei is the owner of 3 passenger boats with a total capacity of appr 200 passengers which were build built in the \u201860s and \u201880s and regularly modernized. Between May-October there is a regular scheduled boat service providing connections among the different ports of the lake and also rent boats on demand available. The organisation also provides guides who can present the natural values of the Lake for all kind of target groups. To widen its service base and to attract more guests 8 canoes with a total capacity of appr 60 people and 2 dragon boats with a capacity of 40 were bought in the last years targeting mostly school groups (excursions) to provide organized guided tours on the Lake. 3 years ago an aquarium house with 9 aquarium presenting the underwater wildlife (fish, plants, bugs and other species) of the Lake was opened at the main port (Ag\u00e1rd) supported by LEADER funds also to provide more attraction for the tourists. Based upon the core services Velencei also provides guided tours on water presenting the natural values of the Lake. Last year in a close collaboration with the National Park regular boat tours are organized to visit the Bird Reservoit. Main users of the services are Hungarian tourists (mostly during high season) and school and other groups (mostly pre- and post summer season) although several efforts were made to attract more tourist from abroad. Velencei is also committed to widen the tourism service base therefore heavily involved into tourism product development with local Tourism Destination Management organisations (mapping of bicycle route and local walking tours, development of ecopark, mapping of local POIs, local publications). It is also deeply involved in local tourism cooperation and development projects together with tourism service providers and hotels around the Lake to strengthen networking and clustering of small tourism businesses, attract more visitors and ultimately generate more income to be spent on further product development.<\/div>\n

InterRegio Forum Association<\/h2>\n
The InterRegio Forum Association is a Budapest-based NGO, founded in 1997. Ever since then, we have been working on the elaboration and on the spreading of ICT-based, innovative best practices, mostly in the Danube Region. Our main focus areas are related to the efficient use of the mobile devices and the social networks in education, but we also work in the field of the preservation of the cultural heritage and the development of the cultural tourism. With more than 20 years of experience, we excel in these areas, but we are also open to learn new practices every day. And we are more than happy to share. Our working principle is to use the comparative advantages offered by the cross-border and the regional cooperation, and to encourage the cross-border cooperation amongst non-profit organizations and educational institutions, in order to contribute to the spreading of best practices and to the strengthening of the innovation capacity. Our day-to-day work includes projects, promoting the use of the innovative educational tools in primary-, secondary-, higher- and in vocational education, we also work for the strengthening of entrepreneurship in these areas. We have ongoing projects for the use of the modern solutions in the preservation of cultural heritage, regarded as a resource of the sustainable tourism as well. We are also taking part in various research projects in the fields mentioned above, and in the previous year we have carried-out several individual, successful researches in such topics (like hubs for youth entrepreneurship). Our previous projects, including our experiences in EU financed cross-border ones, are presented on our web-page. We consider our work dynamics, principles and resources as our strength. Our group of experts is composed of senior and junior economists, sociologists, anthropologists, acting teachers and IT professionals, who are sharing our believes in an evolving education. Most of our members are contributing to the Association’s objectives by offering considerable voluntary work. But as the organization grows in success we have more and more space to offer full-time jobs, therefore we also work with contracted professionals and sub-contractors. Currently the Association has 3 full-time employees (being responsible for the finances, and for the management), 2 permanent experts and 8-10 acting volunteers, but this number may increase significantly depending on the needs of the running projects.<\/div>\n

Learning Detours V.A. Ltd is a private company in Larnaca, Cyprus that works with special interest groups, corporate teams and students, to design and implement customised learning experiences. We combine different learning methodologies, theories and tools in and out of the classroom, in an effort to achieve better results. The company was established in 2015 and took over some of the training and development activities of X-Panel Ltd (est.2006) , which are further implemented by the same people with extensive experience in management training, business support and project management. We use appropriate and innovative training and learning approaches, tools and methodologies that have been acquired from third parties (eg. Lego Serious Play, Open Space Technology, Business Model Canvas, Coaching & Mentoring) or developed internally and in cooperation with other European organisations through different European projects (including LLP and Erasmus+) covering topics such as Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, Talent Management, Business Strategy and Team Performance. The staff of Learning Detours have worked since 1999 on over 40 European (LLP, FP5, FP6, FP7, Erasmus+, etc.) and numerous national projects and have extensive experience in training\/ curriculum development and project management. Lithuanian Countryside Tourism Association (LCTA) is a national level association uniting 60% of countryside tourism service providers in Lithuanian, having 412 members and 6 employees working in the administration. The main goals and activities of the Association are to represent interests of the Association members at management institutions and other organizations, to coordinate the activities of the Association members developing rural tourism in Lithuania and to analyze the demand for rural tourism services within the country and abroad. We actively participate in developing and analyzing new draft laws of the rural tourism sector of Lithuania. LCTA also organizes workshops, conferences, fairs, exhibitions, to prepare methodical means and information bulletins on the activities of the Association and its members. To improve the qualification of the Association members we organize traineeships within the country and abroad. Association periodically carries out Rural Tourism organizer training and annually organizes seminars and conferences as well as surveys of providers in order to find all possible and the best ways to improve the quality, safety and security. Since 2007, the Association is a member of Eurogites, the European federation of Farm tourism and incorporates best experiences of European rural tourism product development in our country.<\/div>\n

Development agency VTA (Razvojna agencija VTA) is professional, reliable, enthusiastic and well recognized agency in the Region of the Continental Croatia. Development agency VTA (abbreviated DA VTA) was established by a Decision of the City Counsil on 7th of November 2013 as a public non-profit institution. DA VTA is the first local development agency registered as an institution in Croatia. The only founder of the Agency is the City of Virovitica and the main task of DA VTA is to provide technical and advisory support to programs and projects of significant relevance to the City. Tasks of DA VTA include daily cooperation with economic stakeholders, rural businesses and members of the Civil sector through preparation and implementation of projects, financed either nationally or by the EU. Main goals of the DA VTA are to increase economic activity, generate economic growth and to increase standard of living in the City of Virovitica and Virovitica-podravina County. DA VTA employs 15 highly educated people with focus in Economic science (Finance, Entrepreneurship and Marketing). DA VTA cooperates on a daily basis with relevant institutions in the City and Virovitica-podravina County and it has established contacts in relevant entities in Virovitica-podravina County. DA VTA possess significant experience in preparation and implementation of programs regarding EU funding and it had prepared several projects related to entrepreneurship, employability and tourism. For the City of Virovitica, every project that is funded from different sources than their own DA VTA is in charge for full implementation and all administrative procedures.
